If you set a goal, to grow your child an intelligent person, then you do not need to write it down for all kinds of self-development courses and in-depth study of various subjects. The first thing you should do is teach the child to read and instill in him a love of books from childhood. Among writers writing for children there are none that are not strictly recommended. Any children's book is good. Any develops and teaches your child. It is important to give him the opportunity to choose what he wants to read. While the child is still small, books should be in the house in a paper version. But, as soon as he mastered the computer, and we hope that this happens much later than learning to read, then you can donate an electronic device to play the book. And show the network addresses of electronic libraries, where you can download books for free. Based on your child's preferences, offer him books based on his experience, or on the feedback of experienced readers. Do not forbid the child to read a book that is not suitable for you. Try to find out what attracted him to this work, why he chose this story. Perhaps your child sees something that you have not seen in this work.
